Our Beliefs

What We Believe

We believe and confess that the Holy Scriptures, the canonical books of the Old and New Testament, are the true Word of God, written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, revealed for the salvation of man’s soul, and therefore the only source and only rule of faith, doctrine, and life. We believe that the Word of God is inerrant and infallible.

We accept the Apostolic, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds, and the Unaltered Augsburg Confession and Luther’s small catechism as a correct exposition and interpretation of the teachings of God’s Word, and all practicing and teaching in this church shall conform to these confessions.

The purpose and aim of this congregation is to teach God’s Word and to believe in the Holy Trinity, together with administering God’s means of Grace in the Holy Sacraments according to Scriptures and conforming to the doctrine and teachings of the Apostolic Lutheran Church. It seeks this end by diligent use of the means of grace in public teaching and worship.
